As part of its commitment to promoting health awareness and strengthening the role of academic institutions in community service, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zintan hosted a breast cancer awareness event on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in celebration of Pink October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event took place at Al-Zahrawi Hall within the Faculty.

The event was organized by the Community and Environment Team in collaboration with Tabiba Clinic, under the supervision of the Faculty of Medicine – University of Zintan. It aimed to promote health education, raise awareness of women's health, and emphasize the vital importance of early breast cancer detection in improving treatment outcomes and survival rates.

The event focused on highlighting the significance of early detection, recognizing the warning signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encouraging regular health screenings, and providing reliable medical information to enhance women's health awareness.

This initiative reflects the Faculty of Medicine's ongoing commitment to supporting community health activities, fulfilling its academic and humanitarian mission, and strengthening collaboration with organizations and initiatives dedicated to public health and community well-being.

At the conclusion of the event, the Faculty of Medicine extended its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Community and Environment Team, Tabiba Clinic, the participating female physicians and lecturers, and everyone who contributed to organizing and ensuring the success of this important awareness initiative.
